Chartered College of Teaching
What does being a Charted Teacher mean?
Chartered Teacher Status recognises the knowledge, skills and behaviours of excellent teachers, celebrates the importance of their expertise in supporting the learning of children and young people and represents the first step in the development of a career pathway focused on effective classroom practice, mentorship and leadership.
There are three possible routes
CTeach - Chartered Teacher Status - classroom practice
CTeach (Mentor) - Chartered Teacher Status - mentoring other teachers
CTeach (Leadership) - Chartered Teacher Status for Leaders of schools / those that work across Trusts and hubs.
As a Learning Partner for the Chartered College, we are able to support and run our own cohorts - providing a more accessible model in East Anglia
